About cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies, including local storage, can also remember information about your visit. This policy explains how The Brow Fairy website uses them.
Strictly necessary technologies
These technologies support essential website functions such as security, page delivery, appointment booking and remembering your privacy choice. They cannot always be switched off through our website because the service you request may not work correctly without them.
- Cookie preference: your “Essential only” or “Accept all” selection is stored locally on your device so the notice does not appear on every visit.
- Booking functions: the appointment system may use session or security technologies needed to display the booking form, submit a request and protect it from misuse.
- WordPress and security: WordPress, hosting and security services may use essential technologies to deliver and protect the website. Administrator login cookies apply only to authorised website users.
Optional cookies
Optional analytics, advertising or marketing cookies are not required for the basic website to work. They should be used only after you choose “Accept all”. At the date shown below, the theme does not itself activate advertising pixels or optional analytics cookies. If optional services are added later, this policy and the consent controls should be updated before they are enabled.
Third-party services and links
The website uses external service providers for functions such as web fonts, hosting, email and appointment booking. These providers may receive technical information, including your IP address, when their resources are requested. Links to Google Maps, Instagram, Facebook or other websites take you to services that apply their own cookie and privacy policies.
Managing your choices
You can choose “Essential only” or “Accept all” when the cookie notice appears. You can also remove stored website data or block cookies using your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary technologies may prevent parts of the website or booking form from working correctly.
To change a choice stored by this website, clear the site data for this domain in your browser and reload the page. The cookie notice will appear again.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy if the website’s services or cookie use changes. Questions can be sent to kamilka.baciak31@googlemail.com or raised by calling 07565 296571.
